On 17 Dec 2016 Gainesville Composite and North Marion Cadet Squadrons cadets experienced the thrill of flight.  Cadets received their orientations flights at the Gainesville Regional Airport using the squadron's Cessna 172.  The activity is highly structured, with specific syllabi and learning objectives for each cadet depending on how many flights they've had.  The pilot, Maj Larry Oshins, first conducted a classroom session, then followed with a demonstration of his extensive pre-flight inspection.  Needless to say it was a fantastic experience for the cadets.
