Spaatz Rank and Ribbon
It is with great pride that we announce Florida Wing's newest Spaatz cadet - C/Col Tiffany Jakowczuk from the Gainesville Composite Squadron (Spaatz # 1814).  C/Col Jakowczuk passed all portions of the Spaatz exam on her First Attempt!

Tiffany joined the Gainesville squadron in 2006. Her very impressive cadet career includes attending Advanced Technologies Academy, International Air Cadet Exchange - Japan, Cadet Officer School, as well as Champion of the 2008 National Color Guard Competition. She's served as an instructor at various leadership schools throughout the Wing, Wing Conference, and at the Wing Color Guard Academy. C/Col Jakowczuk most recently was named Florida Wing's Cadet of the Year. Her dedication, drive, and capabilities are solid reasons why our cadet program is so important to our youth!

The Spaatz achievement is the highest achievement a cadet can earn in the Civil Air Patrol cadet program. As of today, since the award's inception, only 1814 cadets have ever achieved this coveted award. Two of these cadets have originated from the Gainesville Composite Squadron.
